The Percussion Sailing Camp provide Art and Education in nature, seven creative days in the most dreamy summer destination.

A team of up to fourteen participants, along with the instructors and the production team Travel, Gain Experiences, Create Memories, have Fun and enjoy every moment.
The co-captains of this journey, Yshai Afterman and Petros Kourtis offer a unique Educational Sailing Camp for Percussionists and Musicians of the Percussive Arts (Drummers | Tap Dancers | Body Music performers etc). Join the camp to Sail, Share, Connect, exchange Thoughts & Ideas about the Rhythm, the Percussion & the Future of our Art. The camp takes place in the absolute blue Ionian Sea, an environment fully complied to positive energy and inspiration.
During our sailing journey on blissful beaches and picturesque ports in the Ionian Islands, our inspiring instructors will materialise daily Masterclasses in Rhythm | Phrasing | Composing | Accompanying |Arrangements, and will offer many Jam sessions.
Starring at this Journey: the percussion, the composition, the arrangement, the improvisation and the creative approach through a music ensemble.
Every beach or harbor on our way, will be transformed to a field of learning, experimentation and relaxation.
Yshai Afterman
A compelling voice in the world music scene, Israeli percussionist Yshai Afterman draws on the Indian, Turkish, Persian and Arabic traditions, blending them with modern innovations into a highly technical, melodic and rhythmic style. Constantly on tour internationally, Yshai performs with various projects and gives masterclasses in academies, festivals and private settings around the world.
Petros Kourtis
His educational journey starts in 1990, in Brazil. He studied classical percussion at the Municipal Conservatory of Zografou and continued his studies at Berklee College of Music where he studied Ethnic Percussion alongside leading musicians, such as o Jamey Haddad, o Glen Velez, o Giovanni Hidalgo etc. Co-founder of the art center “Playground for the Arts”. Founder and Art Director of artistic and educational activities carried out with great success on an annual basis since 2012, Artventure Camp and MEDITERRANEAN Percussion LAB.

How much is the Participation Fee?
700,00 Euro/per person

- A Sailing trip with 7 overnights on board in shared cabins | Single cabins available upon request – extra charges will apply

- Musical percussion instruments for the materialisation of the sessions, classes, jams (upon request)
- Fixed provisions for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on board (all meals are prepared by the participants of the Camp on the Sailing boats)
- A special discounted price for lunch and dinner fixed menus (excl. beverage), at local taverns in some of our destinations.

- Travel Arrangements (to/from Lefkada island)
- Participants’ personal expenses
- Whatever not mentioned clearly above.
Cancellation Policy
For cancellations made until the 31st of May 2022, a full refund of the amount received is available. From the 1st of June to 15th of July 2022, a refund of 50% of the amount received is available. There will be no refunds for cancellations after the 15th of July 2022.
- In case of involuntary failure to provide the agreed services by the operator, participants have the right for a full refund.
